Kaylee's 1st Dance Recital

Kaylee's first dance recital (tap and ballet) was a couple weeks ago. It was very entertaining, to say the least! Each class got to perform on their own and had about a 30 minute recital with mostly group performances but some pair and individual things. All the girls were very into it and all so cute!

She'll be starting another class for the summer in a couple weeks, with another recital to follow.

Of course I forgot to turn on the flash for the two darker photos above and those were my favorite shots! :( These are even after brightening them up a bunch in photoshop. Maybe next time I'll remember to check that the flash is on!






Kaylee later told me that she wasn't smiling for the group photos because her flower was squished and she was mad about it. Ahh, that's my girl!

Andy's 15 month vocabulary

Here is a (not complete, I'm sure) list of words Andy says somewhat successfully (aka we know what he means...e.g. "wawa" is waffle) at the ripe old age of 15 months:

Kaylee's Spring/Year-end preschool program was today. I can't believe she already only has 2 days left and will be at a different school for Pre-K next year! She really had a great year and LOVES her teacher Ms. Heather (me, too - I'm already looking forward to Andy being in her class, and Kaylee's looking forward to visiting him). Here are a few photos from the performance and after.

The kids all made special Mother's Day plates at school. Kaylee took the pictures of me with it before I opened it and after. I zoomed the camera for her for the 2nd shot and after she took about 2 minutes lining up the shot, she took it, saw it and said, "perfect!"
