Kaylee's big day out

Posting with a sleeping baby girl in my arms! Kaylee and I had a busy day Friday - we left the house around 10 am and got home after 5 pm!!! We went to our first Mom & Me class (held every Friday at one of the Northside Forsyth buildings off 400 at Old Milton Parkway). The kids at the class ranged in age from 11 days to 13 months, with a few right around Kaylee's age. Afterwards we picked up lunch and went to Wills Park with a bunch of the moms and babies from the class. It was nice to talk with other mothers about stuff and get questions answered, plus just the socializing with adults aspect was nice. :) Kaylee was a bit young to enjoy the playground equipment, but she seemed to enjoy the nap she had while we were there. On our way home, we stopped by Grandma Barb's office for a surprise visit - she was happy to show off her granddaughter to her coworkers!

Kaylee was awesome all day - didn't fuss except a couple times when she was getting hungry and needed a diaper change - praise God for blessing us with a content baby! (Not that she's never fussy, but I really can't complain!) After we got home we were both wiped out. I fed her shortly after our arrival, then we both took a nap for about an hour and a half, which was awesome.

Kaylee's great aunt Sharon came from SC this weekend for a visit and stayed Friday night through about noon today. She was able to come over for just a few hours when Kaylee was 4 days old, but hadn't had time until now to return - and won't be able to for at least a few weeks, so was super happy to be able to visit this weekend. Kaylee seemed excited to see her as well, though all the smiles could have just been gas...

I need to try to get a few things done before her next mealtime rolls around, so I should sign off for now. Sorry no new pictures - we have a few from last night, but they're still on my camera, which is downstairs at the moment. Soon, I promise! :)
