Kaylee picked out blue socks to wear this morning, but saw her "Ryker socks" (she got them at her cousin Ryker's birthday party in September, hence the name) and wanted to wear them to. As I was already putting the blue ones on her feet, she played with the Ryker socks for a bit before deciding it would be funny to wear them on her hands. She put them both on by herself and called them her "Ryker socks gubs" - FYI: gubs=gloves. She thought it was hilarious that she had socks on her hands and was eating (dry) Cheerios with them on and playing with various things for a while.
The boots are new hand-me-downs from a friend. She had a playdate with Erin (and her big sis Ellie) for a couple hours yesterday afternoon while I took Shadow to the vet and she apparently loved the boots so much while she was over that they became hers. (Ellie and Erin had just gotten new ones.) She wore them off and on all day and can pretty much put them on by herself, but sometimes would get hung up trying and become super frustrated and kick them off while screaming. Yikes. Anyway, the boots might come in handy soon as it seems we might get a little snow sometime in the next week or two, but the forecast keeps changing (imagine that!!) so who knows.
LOL, she looks like a happy boxer!
ReplyDeleteElena has the same frustrations with the zipper on her pink boots. She can get the boots on, but the zipper is too hard for her to zip up.
