My little guy is 7 months today! His other bottom middle tooth seems to be coming in, so he shouldn't be snaggletooth much longer. For a while now he's been shaking his head crazily, but lately (within the past 2 weeks or so now) he seems to associate that with saying, "no." It's pretty funny. He does it a lot when he's eating, but full - i.e. when I offer another spoonful he emphatically shakes his head side to side. He also does it some when he's saying, "dadada dada dadadada," and I ask if he can say, "mama;" he gets a big grin and shakes his head, the little booger. For a couple weeks he's also been working on waving, but it was always with a straight arm sort of hanging by his side that he'd just lift and lower a few times. Today I think I got a couple actual waves, though! He had his arm bent and waved his hand from side to side. Then I copied him and asked if he could wave again and he did. Of course, then Kaylee and her friend Erin both ran over to watch him wave and he was fixated on them instead of performing anymore. :)
He's still not showing any signs of being interested in crawling; he won't get up on his hands and knees at all, though he is rolling onto his stomach more and more and spending more time playing that way now, as opposed to rolling right back over onto his back. He really just prefers sitting up, though. He likes seeing what's going on all around him and playing with toys while he sits.
He laughs at the silliest things. Still loves peekaboo, loves (or at least laughs hysterically at) getting tickled (back of the neck is a very tickly spot for him, FYI), seems to like books, though possibly just trying to eat them more than the stories at this point. He's very cuddly and loves being held and playing with someone, but also plays well alone. He especially LOVES when Kaylee plays with him, reads to him, bounces with him (Andy in the hanging jumper and Kaylee on her bouncy ball) or otherwise just pays attention to him. She can walk past him and just casually look over, say some random silly thing and keep walking and Andy will burst out in laughter. Then she'll do it 20 more times to get him to laugh more until one of them finally tires of it.
I can't think of anything else right now. I know I'm behind on posting photos, too. I have them, just haven't done anything with them recently!
